Accepting payments from clients is now easier with our QRIDit Home Watch software than ever before. Last year we introduced invoicing to you and your clients. Available Now! – clients can pay their invoices through their dashboard using the new payment portal. This is an option you will have to enable in your application settings.
Once you sign up and activate the Payment Portal in your QRIDit Home Watch account, clients will have the option to pay using credit card right from their dashboard. You can do this with your own already existing Stripe account or provide us with a few details in QRIDit settings and you’ll automatically be set up with the necessary accounts.
There is no additional monthly fee for this brand new feature. There is a processing fee that will be charged on every transaction. We’ll let you know when this feature is available; we’re just about there. We just wanted to share this amazing news with you.
What is Stripe and do I need an account with them?
Stripe (see: stripe.com), is a highly secure payment processing gateway. We’ve integrated with their API (Application Programming Interface) to offer safe and secure payment technology in our home watch software. Your client’s credit card information isn’t stored on our servers, we work as a gateway and securely pass all of the information to Stripe. They handle billions of dollars every year through their PCI DSS certified data centres so you you can rest assured your information is safe with them.
Inorder to facilitate payment processing you will need a stripe account. If you have one already, that’s great! If not, don’t worry, we’ve taken care of the details and once the feature is live, you can get setup without ever having to leave the QRIDit dashboard.
